How do I use SwitchPod with a smartphone?
To use a SwitchPod with a phone, you'll want to attach a smartphone tripod adapter on top. You can order one directly from us or you can use a third party one.
What is SwitchPod made of?
SwitchPod is made of aluminum and is incredibly sturdy but lightweight.
How much weight does it hold?
We've stacked 100 lbs on it, no problem and the tripod doesn't bend or break. It can hold as much as any other tripod with a 1/4-20 screw.
Is it stabilized?
There is no electronic stabilization but if you are looking to further stabilize your shot use a camera with in-body stabilization, a stabilized lens, or use a phone that stabilizes video well.

How do I make changes to the order I just placed?
No worries! If you need to make changes to your order simply email our support team at support@switchpod.co immediately with your changes. Orders typically take 1 business day to process so there’s a good chance you’ll catch us before it is sent out.
How do I track my order?
Check your email for your shipping confirmation, which is separate from your order confirmation. There will be a tracking link in that email that you can click on to get the most up to date delivery status.
What is your return policy?
We have a 30 day return policy if the product is in good condition.

Include a print out of your Order Receipt in the box and write REFUND & your ORDER # on the outside of the box.
Please provide the tracking number to us via email to support@switchpod.co once sent. Once the product is received we can process your refund.
Do your products have a warranty?
For the first year we will cover manufacturing defects and failures or breakages that render part or all of your product to become non-functional.
Our warranty does not cover cosmetic blemishes, scratches, stains, or wear & tear. Nor does it cover failures or breakages due to misuse, neglect, or intentional damage.

How long does shipping take?
All orders ship out from our warehouse in Utah in about 24 to 48 hours. Tracking numbers take 1 to 3 days to activate after you order.
Domestic orders take 1 to 4 days depending on where you are in the U.S. (Typically west coast orders arrive a day or two faster than east coast ones.)
International orders may take up to 7-11 days (total) for delivery, but may arrive sooner. Unfortunately we can't guarantee a delivery date because we are at the mercy of each country's customs office.
What countries is SwitchPod available in?
We ship orders from this website to (almost) every country worldwide. See our “where to buy” page to see if there is a retailer closer to you in your country.
Are there International delivery import or tariff fees I’ll have to pay?
We know delivery fees are not fun at all, but we are legally bound to mark the package with its proper value, which in some countries may lead to import fees. We can't get away with marking the packages as "gifts".
The additional cost is from your country imposing an import tax, this is an additional cost to the shipping that you pay us to deliver the product. Common misconception, but customs happens either way.
Either we import into a country, pay a distributor and pay customs on our end upfront, and have to raise pricing on products to cover that. Or we keep prices fair and ship worldwide and charge applicable taxes at checkout. We've opted for a single warehouse and fair product pricing thus far.
Regardless the total cost comes out to be the same, but shipping direct from a single warehouse is a much simpler and more transparent solution about what's actually happening when you checkout and pay. Long winded explanation, but hopefully helpful.
